History

PMAP was founded on June 17, 1966, through an initiative led by Eda Lagdameo and Edward Escartin. They sought to create an environment wherein Human Resource practitioners could learn from each other, share experiences and foster personal growth through education and training. Since then, PMAP has grown to be one of the largest professional organizations in the Philippines with more than 3,000 members across different industries.
