Prokaryote

Prokaryotes are the simplest type of organism, consisting of single-celled microorganisms such as bacteria and archaea. This group is characterized by its lack of membrane-bound organelles inside the cell. Instead, genetic material floats freely in the cytoplasm rather than being housed within the nucleus like in more complex eukaryotic cells. Despite their simple nature, prokaryotes form an integral part of many ecosystems on Earth due to their diverse metabolic capabilities and ability to survive in harsh environments.

Eukaryote

Eukrayotes are multi-cellular organisms with a membrane bound nucleus containing DNA organized into chromosomes surrounded by proteins called histones. This combination allows for longer gene sequences which ultimately leads to more complex structures such as plants and animals. Eukayotes come in many different forms including fungi, animals, plants, algae, protozoa, etc., making them incredibly diverse creatures found all over the world (including human beings!).

Virus

Unlike prokaryotes or eukraytes which exist as independent living organisms that contain genetic information necessary for replication and metabolism, viruses exist as nonliving particles that take advantage of cellular functions to reproduce themselves within host organisms. The primary components used by viruses to infect their hosts include DNA or RNA strands that act as instructions to manipulate host cells as well as protective protein coats for protection from environmental threats like antibodies or even extreme pH levels found outside of a cell's normal range.
