What does ASPA mean in COMPANIES & FIRMS

The Alabama Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) is an organization dedicated to empowering student journalists, recognizing excellence in high school journalism, and promoting ethical practices and standards.

ASPA provides educational programs, competitions, awards and resources for high school journalists throughout the state of Alabama.

ASPA recognizes a range of activities such as writing stories, design journalism courses or creating digital media projects that demonstrate mastery of journalistic skills.

Each year, ASPA offers a variety of awards and scholarships to outstanding applicants who have demonstrated excellent work in the field of journalism. To be eligible for these awards or scholarships you must have completed a minimum number of hours working in an area related to student press activities such as writing stories or producing media projects.
