What does ASNP mean in ACADEMIC & SCIENCE

The Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP) is a professional organization dedicated to educating and training special needs planning professionals to effectively serve individuals with disabilities and their families. Through its comprehensive educational programs, ASNP seeks to empower professionals to develop practical solutions that maximize quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Professionals who have an interest in special needs planning are eligible to join ASNP. This includes attorneys, financial advisors, social workers, accountants, educators, and other professionals who are dedicated to helping people with disabilities and their families.

As a member of the ASNP, you will gain access to resources that will give you the information needed to stay up-to-date on developments in special needs planning. In addition, members will have access to networking opportunities with other professionals in the field as well as discounts on conferences and other training events.

Follow all instructions carefully and make sure you submit all relevant documents as required by the application process. Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by our board for approval or denial.

Our members have achieved many successes over the years through their work in special needs planning. These includes developing innovative strategies for providing long term financial security for individuals with disabilities; creating guardianship plans that protect vulnerable adults from exploitation; minimizing tax liabilities; and identifying public entitlements that can benefit individuals with disabilities and their families.
