Ouachita Christian School is an independent school located in Monroe, Louisiana. It was founded in 1966 and has a student body of over 900 students from Pre-K3 through grade 12. Ouachita offers a college preparatory curriculum as well as extracurricular activities, such as athletics, drama, and fine arts. The mission of OCS is to “provide a God-honoring educational environment that equips our students for success now and throughout eternity.”

Ouachita Christian School is situated on 30 acres in the city of Monroe, Louisiana. Located just off Interstate 20, it serves the families of northeast Louisiana and southern Arkansas.

Yes! In addition to our rigorous academic program, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as athletics (middle school & high school), drama (elementary & middle school) and fine arts (elementary). We also have clubs & organizations such as yearbook staff and National Honor Society available for high schoolers.

At OCS we strive to provide an enriching academic experience by providing a college preparatory education with challenging coursework designed to help each student reach their fullest potential while preparing them for college success. Our curriculum also includes Bible classes culminating in Biblical literature at the high school level as well as Chapel services every Monday & Wednesday morning before classes begin for the day.

Yes! There is an online application process that must be filled out before being considered for admission to OCS along with other steps such as submitting transcripts or test scores (if applicable), attending the required parent information session and completing an entrance exam (if necessary). Admissions decisions are made after careful consideration by our Admission Council who review all applications on a rolling basis throughout each semester starting in November before the next academic year begins in August. Parents will receive notification regarding their child’s acceptance status around April–May depending on when they applied.
