What are OBH Instruments?

OBH refers to Ocean Bottom Hydrophone (OBH) Instruments. These instruments are specifically designed to record sound in the water column due to their waterproof housing and sensitive hydrophones located on the ocean floor. The instruments use acoustic signals to detect underwater sounds that range from natural sources like whales singing or dolphins chirping, to man-made sounds like boat propellers or construction activities. How Does OBH Work?
