What does NRSI mean in NURSING

The primary role of NRSI is to promote and advance nursing research across India by conducting various types of workshops, seminars and symposia at national level. It also seeks to facilitate access to professionals who can provide guidance and advice on how best to utilize evidence-based approaches such as systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials for use in improving practice.

Being a member of NRSI means having access to exclusive activities such as workshops, seminars, conferences, as well as other resources that help nurses further their knowledge about research within their field. Members are also eligible for grants from government bodies or private companies for clinical research projects which will benefit nurse's practice.

Membership is open to nursing students enrolled in Post Basic BSc Nursing Programme or MSc Nursing Programme or Doctoral Programmes besides registered nurses with three year experience in clinical practice or teaching/research institutions or any other related activity in the field of Nursing Education/Research/Administration.

NRSI was established in 1991 and since then it has been encouraging the expansion of nursing knowledge through its various efforts such as providing information about current research projects & methodologies along with guidance on how best utilize them for improved practice within the field.

The events organized by NRSI includes national & regional seminars, conferences & workshops covering areas relevant not only to current nursing practices but also providing greater insights into new methods & technologies involved in research process. These events serve both academic & practical needs while equipping interested members with tools required for better understanding within this profession while making use evidence-based approach whenever necessary.
