What does NNU mean in NURSING

National Nurses United is a professional union and advocacy organization in the United States that represents nurses from all walks of life. National Nurses United was formed in 2009 when three major nursing organizations merged together - California Nursing Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC), Massachusetts-based United American Nurses (UAN), and Ohio-based American Federation of Teachers' paramedical division—the Federation's Nursing and Health Professionals (AFT NHPs). Since then it has grown into one of the largest labor unions in America representing over 150,000 registered nurses across the country.
