What does NLMA mean in LITERACY

The NLMA is a government agency of India responsible for promoting and developing literacy in the country. It was established in 1988 as part of the National Policy on Education, 1986. It aims to impart functional literacy to all adults through community mobilization and mass media campaigns, as well as funding and monitoring of State-level literacy projects.
