History
North Hollywood High School first began as the Little Landers High School in 1939, which was located at Lankershim Boulevard and Ben Avenue. In 1945, citizens around the area voted to join LAUSD and officially change Little Landers High School's name to North Hollywood High School. Over the years, workshops and additional buildings were added to accommodate more students, leading up to today's campus with its two main buildings, two separate gymnasiums and other facilities such as swimming pools and on-site athletic fields.
