The Missing Persons Advocacy Network (MPAN) is an Australian charity that was established in 2009 with a focus on providing support to families and friends of missing persons. Our mission is to reduce the impact of a disappearance and provide hope for those affected. We work in collaboration with government, law enforcement, and other non-government organisations to help raise awareness about missing person cases.

MPAN offers a range of services for those affected by a missing person including family support, media liaison, education and public awareness campaigns. We also provide training for professionals who are working with missing persons and collaborate with numerous organisations on research projects looking into how best to approach the issue of missing persons.

MPAN operates nationwide across Australia including in major cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart as well as regional areas. Our team also works closely with other states/territories including Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.

Unfortunately we do not currently provide any financial assistance or donations however we do offer emotional support and advice such as linking them up with relevant organisations who may be able to assist financially as well as providing counselling services where necessary.

The Missing Persons Advocacy Network has been established since 2009 so we have more than 10 years experience helping families come to terms with their loved ones' disappearance whilst working closely with government agencies in order to bring attention to each case and hopefully achieve positive outcomes for victims’ families.
