What does MH mean in TRANSPORTATION

A Maintenance Hole (MH) is a hole that is generally larger than the standard utility access point. An MH may be dug at the request of an engineering firm in order to provide access to underground infrastructure, such as sewer systems, storm drains, electrical wiring and other utilities.
