What MCO Offers

At MCO, students can immerse themselves in the expansive world of optometry and vision sciences. Through intensive coursework in clinical sciences, practice management, health promotion and advocacy within their chosen specialty areas, students are well-prepared for their chosen career paths after graduation. The college's comprehensive curriculum covers anything from evaluating patients' needs to lens design and fabrication techniques. Our state-of-the-art laboratories also provide hands-on experience so that our students are able to apply skills learned inside the classroom directly in real life situations outside of it. In addition to academic courses, our clinical emphasis allows students to gain exposure to various patient populations while receiving excellent instruction from when they apply those skills to practical settings such as eye care clinics located around campus.
