What does MA1 mean in NAVY

MA1s perform a variety of duties related to accounting, personnel tracking, budgeting and other financial services for the U.S. Navy. Duties include compiling financial and personnel data; ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions; preparing detailed financial statements; reconciling budgets; managing resources; managing inventories; providing training on accounting procedures; assisting in administrative analysis; researching cost saving ideas; and providing assistance to other military departments or organizations requiring management support.
