Description of LPMS

Lewis-Palmer Middle School (LPMS) is an outstanding public middle school that was established in 1979. Located just minutes away from Colorado Springs in Monument, Colorado, it provides an excellent learning experience to students from grades 6 through 8. Many of the graduates from this school have gone on to pursue prestigious academic opportunities both inside and outside of Colorado and continue to make us proud throughout the years. At LPMS, we are dedicated to providing our students with an outstanding education that prepares them for lifelong success and achievement. Our teachers provide rigorous instruction while fostering personal growth through hands-on learning experiences aimed at developing their problem solving skills along with their critical thinking skills. Furthermore, our faculty strive to create a safe environment where students can learn without fear or intimidation while establishing meaningful relationships with each other and their instructors. We also offer a wide range of extracurricular activities including sports teams – football, basketball, baseball/softball – pep band and choir performances as well as various clubs such as robotics club, Spanish club, chess club etc which help foster camaraderie among the students leading to better peer relationships outside the classroom environment too!
