What does AARS mean in ASIAN

AARS is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive behavioral health, treatment and recovery services to the Asian American communities of St. Paul and Minneapolis in Minnesota. We offer evidence-based services that are culturally competent and individualized to meet the needs of each person.

AARS provides a range of evidence-based services including inpatient, partial hospitalization programs, case management, residential treatment and outpatient substance use disorder counseling. Additionally, we provide supportive services such as cultural mental health assessments, grief counseling, community events and referrals to other resources.

Our program serves adults aged 18 years or older who identify as part of an Asian American cultural group living in Hennepin County or Ramsey County. We also accept clients from outside those two counties who demonstrate need for our specialized services.

Yes! We participate with most major medical insurance plans, including Medical Assistance/Medicaid, Medicare Part B therapy benefits, HealthPartners Commercial plans, PreferredOne Commercial plans, Blue Cross Blue Shield Commercial plans, Ucare Commercial plans and other Managed Care Organizations. If you do not have insurance coverage, please call us so we can discuss other payment options available to you.

We understand financial constraints can be a barrier to receiving care and strive to make our services accessible to everyone regardless of their financial situation. Yes! We offer monthly peer support groups for clients who wish to connect with others facing similar challenges related to their mental health and/or addiction issues being treated by AARS clinicians. These groups provide a safe space where members can share stories about their experiences with peers in order build resilience and strength together while promoting sobriety and healthy choices among its members.

The primary site for Asian American Recovery Services is located at 1250 E 7th St Suite 130 Saint Paul MN 55106 which also serves as our administrative location here all appointments are scheduled through this office but we have multiple locations around Twin Cities Area so depending on what type of service needed client might visit one more then one location during their course of treatment.

Yes! Here at our clinic we are proud participants in My Chart feature allowing patients quick access secure portal into their own medical records 24 hrs day 7 days week after obtaining password same day visit.
