What Is LMFD? The Lower Macungie Fire Department (LMFD) is the primary agency responsible for providing fire protection services in Lower Macungie, Pennsylvania. LMFD operates out of four fire houses located throughout the township
Station 81 at 15869 Independent Road; Station 82 at 1720 Easton Avenue; Station 83 at 4320 Indian Creek Drive; and Station 84 at 4705 Brookville Road. The department has over 60 sworn personnel who are trained to respond to a variety of emergencies including fires, hazardous materials spills, vehicle accidents and medical emergencies.
