What does LEO mean in LEADERSHIP

LEO stands for Leadership Experience Opportunity. It is a program designed to help young professionals develop their leadership skills, expand their networks, and gain exposure to the benefits of working in an entrepreneurial setting.

By taking part in the LEO Program, you will have the opportunity to develop both your leadership skills and your professional network. Additionally, you will gain access to valuable resources related to entrepreneurship that may not be available through traditional job roles.

Activities involved with the LEO Program vary depending on which particular program you are participating in. Generally speaking, activities may include networking events, mentorship opportunities, workshops and seminars, lectures from experienced entrepreneurs and industry leaders, and hands-on project work.

In order to be eligible for participation in the LEO Program, you must be a recent college graduate or a current professional who has up to five years of experience within a related field.

No - there are no financial requirements necessary for admission into the program. However, any participants who require assistance with travel expenses should contact their local coordinator before applying.

No – prior business experience or knowledge of entrepreneurship is not required to join a LEO Program. However, it is beneficial for prospective participants to have some understanding of basic concepts related to business operations before joining.

Each program has its own specific duration; however they typically last between four weeks and three months depending on which particular type of program you choose to join.

As part of your participation in a given program, you will receive guidance from both mentors and peers throughout your journey towards reaching your goals and furthering your development as an emerging leader.

Yes – each participant will receive regular feedback on his/her performance during the course along with progress reports that summarize key milestones achieved along the way.
