What does APEA mean in ASSOCIATIONS

APEA stands for the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association, a non-profit organization committed to promoting and advancing evaluation practice in the region.

The objectives of APEA are to support professional development in evaluation; facilitate information exchange; strengthen collaborative action among members and stakeholders; promote research, good practices, and recognition of evaluation; and work towards creating an enabling environment for expanding evaluation capacity in Asia-Pacific.

Individuals interested in becoming an APEA member can apply online through our website. Membership is open to academics, government organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international agencies, consultants, evaluators/researchers and other institutions related to evaluation or research.

Yes! Our members have access to discounts on conferences and publications organized by APEA as well as exchange programs such as the Visiting Evaluator Program (VEP).
