Last Chance Community College was founded in 1972 and is located on an 80-acre tract near Yuma, Arizona. The college currently serves over 2,200 full-time students as well as numerous part-time students each year. LCCC offers associate degree programs in fields such as arts/sciences, social sciences, business technologies and health sciences etc., vocational/technical programs such as automotive technology, welding technology, nursing assistant etc., noncredit programs such as adult basic education (ABE), English language learning (ELL) and ESL classes etc., remedial courses which are designed to help those who may need extra assistance in achieving their academic goals etc. In addition to these academic courses/programs LCCC also provides counseling services through their Transfer Center where students can receive information on transferring credits earned at LCCC to four year institutions.
