Competition
Competition in the KVAC is divided into two classes -- Class A and Class B, with 18 teams competing within each class. Each member school's athletic teams are classified based on enrollment size, with the largest being classified as Class A and the smallest being classified as Class B. These two classes compete separately but together form a unified conference comprised of Maine's best coaches, players and administrators who share common goals and standards of excellence when it comes to athletics.
