It depends on each individual's level of commitment and progress but typically it takes 6–12 months for most people to feel comfortable delivering their first 5-7 minute speech or presentation. With continued practice of the techniques acquired at club meetings, members often become advanced speakers much sooner than this timeline.

Yes! Experienced mentors provide guidance throughout all levels of the program to ensure steady improvement over time as well as opportunities for feedback and advice specific to each member’s unique needs.

To progress through the program, members must complete a variety of tasks ranging from giving speeches with increasing difficulty (and length) at club meetings to participating in impromptu speaking exercises like table topics or extemporaneous speeches outside of meetings. Once these tasks have been completed successfully members will be rewarded with access to higher levels within the program for further advancement.

Yes! All members have access to our extensive online library which includes audio examples from more experienced speakers as well as helpful guides on how best prepare speeches/presentations and give engaging talks.

Any topic relevant to public speaking can be presented by a member during a meeting; this could range from conducting job interviews to delivering sales pitches. Additionally, we offer prompts for impromptu speaking/table topics which range from current events or social issues such as relationships or cultural differences.

There are no fees associated with simply joining the club; however dues must be paid every 6 months ($45 per member) in order for you to attend meetings which goes towards upholding membership status within TMI (Toastmasters International), our governing body.

Yes! We understand that life gets hectic sometimes so if you're having trouble making it into our Monday night meetings then you can always log onto our virtual platform for online versions which are offered thrice monthly.
