What does JMCG mean in MILITARY

The Joint Movement Control Group (JMCG) is a global task force aimed at providing strategic advice, international coordination and support to governments on the movement of people across borders, with a focus on pandemics and other public health risks.

The goal of the JMCG is to coordinate global efforts to reduce and mitigate public health risks associated with international travel while simultaneously facilitating safe, orderly and regular global mobility. The JMCG is managed by an Executive Director who oversees operations, receives financial contributions from various partners and works closely with members of a Technical Advisory Board comprised of senior officials from partner organizations such as UNDP, UNHCR, IOM and WHO.
