What does ANST mean in ASSOCIATIONS

ANST is an organization dedicated to providing college and graduate-level students studying neuropsychology the opportunity to connect with peers, faculty, and clinicians. We strive to provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and growth through our online platforms and at conferences.

ANST provides members with access to upcoming events, literature reviews, professional development opportunities such as experiential learning activities, workshops webinars, and networking activities. In addition, we support members through conference travel grants and recognition awards as well as offering discounted registration fees for major neuropsychology conferences.

Membership is open to any student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in neuroscience or psychology related field who is interested in pursuing a career in neuropsychology. To join ANST simply fill out our membership form on our website.

We hold quarterly meetings that typically take place over video conferencing apps such Skype or Zoom but have recently added virtual drop-in meetings during which members can connect with one another informally while learning more about neuroscience topics via pre-recorded presentations. Additionally, we offer monthly webinars on various topics related to neuropsychology careers and research opportunities.

There are no associated costs with joining; however members will be expected to register for events that they wish to attend should there be an associated cost.

The only requirement for membership is being enrolled in an academic program relevant to neuropsychology or neuroscience studies at either the undergraduate or master’s level.

Yes! Through generous donations from our sponsors and alumni, we are able to provide travel grants and recognition awards for deserving members. These awards are competitively open to all current members of our organization who demonstrate excellence academically as well as leadership within the organization itself.

Yes! We advertise job openings within our partnered clinical institutions regularly on our website so that members may apply if they choose. Additionally, those looking for internship experience can apply every semester/year according to availability of positions.

Absolutely! Many of our projects involve collaborations between different universities worldwide where students have the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences beyond boundaries through virtual communication platforms such as Skype sessions conducted by experts from different fields of expertise related to neuroscience study.
