What does IPRC mean in NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

The International Peace Resource Center (IPRC) is dedicate to furthering peace within and around communities. We aim to empower individuals, organizations, and governments to end wars and find non-violent solutions to resolving conflicts. We also strive to inform people about peaceful practices and promote constructive dialogue between parties in conflict.

Our activities include research, advocacy, education, training, grant making and networking. We conduct research on areas related to peacebuilding such as international policies relating to peacebuilding efforts or the effectiveness of specific interventions. We also develop trainings for practitioners in the field of peacebuilding with a special emphasis on gender issues. Additionally, we provide grants for local community-based initiatives that seek to create understanding between different segments of society.

There are several ways you can help support our mission! Yes! The IPPC lobbies governments internationally at all levels by encouraging them to invest resources into peacebuilding initiatives through policy briefs, conferences, seminars as well as through direct contact with governmental representatives. We also work closely with local governments in order to ensure that their policies reflect principles of peaceful coexistence between its citizens regardless of their differences in ethnicity or religion.

Yes! Internships at IPRC offer exciting opportunities for students interested in international affairs or human rights advocacy. Interns will have access to unique insights into global conflicts and gain valuable hands-on experience in diplomacy, negotiation tactics and mediation techniques while working closely with our team of experts on a variety of projects related to international peacebuilding efforts.

The IPPC conducts scholarly research focusing on global trends related to international peacebuilding efforts including topics such as conflict resolution strategies, collaboration among different stakeholders involved in conflict resolution processes, women’s roles in peacemaking initiatives etc.. In addition we conduct surveys regularly which gathers data from practitioners working on the ground level from various countries that could be used further assistance research purposes.
