What does AAOG mean in UNCLASSIFIED

AAPOG is part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW), an international body which has members in over 45 countries practicing various forms of Christianity. The PAW holds its members accountable to biblical principles and offers fellowship among believers who share similar beliefs and values.

Members believe in the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, speaking in tongues as evidence of receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit, miracles as works of God's power today, healing by grace through prayer, and that all scripture is inspired by God.

Through small group ministries such as Women's Ministries, Children's Ministries; Youth Ministries; Men's Ministries; Outreach Ministry teams; Community Services outreach teams; Prayer Groups for personal and corporate prayer; media/internet ministries providing outreach via radio/web broadcasting; general ministry teams working on projects relating to building/property maintenance or repair; etc.

Worship consists of traditional hymns blended with more contemporary music with participation including singing along with other worshippers, reading Scripture aloud together and praising God together. Also included are times for repentance & confession or simply giving quiet time in individual prayer or meditation while basking in His presence or reflecting on His word.

Annual events include revivals, retreats (youth & adult), conferences (women's & men's), picnic/cookouts plus special holiday activities such as Easter egg hunts or Christmas caroling. Other spiritual development activities include Bible studies, youth camps & trips such as ski-trips or mission trips abroad where attendees seek to spread God's love within crisis settings where help may be needed most.
