What does IHF mean in BRITISH MEDICINE

The International Health Federation (IHF) is an international non-governmental organization that promotes health and well-being in communities worldwide. It works to build bridges between global, regional, national and local levels of health systems, bringing together public and private sectors in order to create viable solutions for today’s global health challenges.

The core areas of IHF's work include leadership development; education and communication; research and evaluation; advocacy; collaboration; quality improvement initiatives; capacity building; and sharing best practices.

By working with governments, civil society organizations, healthcare professionals, policy makers, industry leaders and other stakeholders around the world, IHF assists in advancing the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Yes! IHV currently has several projects running which focus on a range of topics including maternal mortality reduction in sub-Saharan Africa as well as addressing chronic malnutrition among elementary schoolchildren in Peru. These projects are designed with input from multiple stakeholders at all levels—from policymakers at the highest level of government down through community level participants—in order to ensure that all perspectives are taken into account during project design stages for successful implementation by its completion.

Membership into the International Health Federation requires recognition by existing members followed by an application process whereby countries must meet certain criteria outlined by its Executive Committee before being accepted into this network whose mission is committed towards protecting & improving human life everywhere around the world.

No! Membership itself does not incur any additional fees but members are encouraged to make voluntary donations if possible which assist us greatly in furthering our initiatives aimed at inspiring healthy lifestyles worldwide.
