What does AMM mean in MECHANICS

Adaptive Mission Mechanics (AMM) is a platform-agnostic toolkit developed by the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO) that enables mission planning. It allows users to quickly define and execute agile multi-domain missions all within a single collaborative environment.

AMM provides users with built-in tools and techniques that are designed to help facilitate mission planning operations. These tools allow users to rapidly design, analyze, control, simulate, optimize, monitor, update and display various types of missions in one shared environment.

The application is designed to support any type of mission requiring multiple domains of activity - from small-scale convoy escort operations to large complex exercises involving multiple services, agencies or countries.

Unlike other existing platforms, AMM combines all relevant tools into one package without requiring preprocessing or manual laborious tasks. Additionally, it provides a set of features tailored specifically for military applications such as defence operations planning and execution as well as intelligence analysis & visualization.
