What does HSHE mean in UNCLASSIFIED

HSHE stands for Hot Side Heat Exchanger.

A hot side heat exchanger works by transferring thermal energy or heat from one medium to another through direct contact between the two media. This is achieved by flowing heated fluid, such as water or steam, through tubes inside the exchanger which then transfers the heat to the other fluid that flows around the outside of the tubes.

In addition, if not properly maintained, efficiency may drop due to buildup of dirt or contaminants in the system or foreign material clogging up tubes and preventing effective flow of fluids.
