What does HAPC mean in MEDICAL

The Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Center offers a variety of services for women who are pregnant or who have recently had a baby. These include pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound exams, prenatal and postnatal care, and counseling. We can provide lots of information about pregnancy and parenting choices

Appointments are not required at the Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Center; however, we do recommend setting up an appointment if you would like to assess one of our programs or services. This will allow us to ensure that you get seen promptly when you arrive.

Yes! We welcome children under 13 years old into our facility during regular working hours when accompanied by their parent or guardian. If you plan on bringing your child with you on your visit please let us know during your initial phone call so we can best accommodate your needs.

Yes! We offer many different resources both pre- and post-birth. Some examples include referrals for health care providers such as pediatricians and OB/GYNS; support groups; parenting classes; lactation consultations; housing assistance; food pantries; infant formula; diapers; clothing items; books on parenting skills; car seat safety training courses, etc.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer is encouraged to contact our volunteer coordinator directly via email or phone number listed on our website to learn more about our volunteer opportunities and requirements. After speaking with our coordinator, potential volunteers will be invited to attend an orientation session prior to being accepted into any volunteer role within the organization.
