What does GYC mean in YOUTH

History

GYC was founded in 2001 by Michael Fackerell, who had a vision to bring generations together in evangelism and spiritual renewal. The organization's mission is to encourage young adults between the ages of 15–25 to become committed ambassadors for Jesus Christ, boosting morale and impacting society with their faith. GYC has grown over the past two decades into a global movement with branches worldwide including Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South America. As an organization that looks to establish global Christian unity among diverse believers from all walks of life, GYC works alongside churches, ministries and non-profits around the world on initiatives such as education building services, missions trips, retreats and conferences, audio/visual production services and prayer teams.

Vision & Goals

GYC’s main objective is to create an environment where individuals can grow spiritually while developing lifetime relationships with fellow believers outside their own circles. Through this platform they hope to produce true holistic transformation within individuals around the globe; aiming for each person's emotional wellbeing in order for them to live up to their God-given potential. Additionally GYC operates under four core values; Faithfulness – exhibiting loyalty both inside and outside church settings; Hospitality – being generous hospitable hosts that expresses kindness while actively listening; Integrity – ensuring consistency between one’s actions and words; Humility – submitting oneself under divine calling instead of personal ambition.
