GNE stands for Graduate Nurse Education.

Programs offered through GNE typically include master's degrees and doctorate degrees in nursing, as well as specialized certifications in areas such as anesthesia, neonatal care and public health.

Admission requirements vary depending on the program, but generally include satisfactory grades from an undergraduate degree in nursing, letters of recommendation and passing an exam called the National Council Licensure Examination.
