What does GJI mean in LAW & LEGAL

The Gospel Justice Initiative (GJI) is a Christian non-profit dedicated to addressing systemic injustice and poverty in our communities through the application of our collective faith, resources, and relationships. GJI seeks to bring light and transformation to the most marginalized members of society.

GJI provides a variety of initiatives that address systemic injustice, poverty, human suffering, and oppression in many communities. This includes advocating for vulnerable populations locally, nationally, and internationally; providing educational resources to empower individuals; engaging in direct service programs that meet physical needs; seeking restorative justice solutions for local conflicts; and mobilizing others to join together in acts of compassion.

There are numerous ways you can get involved with GJI! You can donate financially or provide monetary support for special projects or campaigns. You can participate in volunteer opportunities within your local community through service projects and advocacy events. Additionally, you can engage with GJI by staying informed on current issues, spreading awareness about injustices through social media platforms, or hosting special events within your own community networks.

GJI works towards addressing a multitude of major social issues ranging from race and immigration reform to gender-based violence and access to basic needs like food security, education services, healthcare resources etc. Through these efforts we strive to create sustainable transformational change while defending rights and protecting vulnerable populations from exploitation or abuse.

Yes! Our Restorative Justice program strives to build pathways towards reconciliation between conflicting parties while also affirming dignity for all parties involved. We seek out compassionate dialogue in order to understand individual situations, build stronger relationships between conflicting parties at all levels - familial, organizational or societal -and ultimately promote healing and growth amongst all people involved.

Yes! You can spread awareness on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram about our work as well as bringing friends along to volunteer opportunities or information sharing sessions that we host at various time throughout the year. Additionally you could champion specific causes or campaigns close to your heart by creating fundraising pages that bring attention directly back into our organization’s mission.

Yes! All donations received go directly towards funding our various programs which cover finance overhead costs such as salaries for staff members as well as additional resource costs associated with program implementation.

Absolutely! Writing letters of advocacy has been an effective form of raising awareness about certain issues as well as being an effective lobbying tool capable of influencing government decision makers if there is enough unified pressure coming from constituents across different communities.
