Georgia Driving Academy (GDA) is a driving school providing driver education that prepares students for obtaining their driver’s license. Whether you are a teen or an adult, GDA offers a variety of packages to make the process of learning to drive easier and more effective.

Georgia Driving Academy has three main types of driving courses - the Driver's Education course, the 6-hour Defensive Driving Course, and the 30-Hour Behind-the-Wheel package. All of these courses are designed to prepare students for obtaining their driver's license safely and confidently.

Yes! Georgia Driving Academy now offers online courses for those who prefer adding convenience when it comes to studying for their driver’s license. The same material covered in our traditional classroom environment is also covered in our online program.

You must have a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license from the State of Georgia before you can enroll in any of our programs. You will also need an official copy of your birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residency (if applicable), parent/guardian signature (if under 18). Additionally, you must provide proof that you have cleared the state mandated Drug & Alcohol Awareness Program (DAPP).

All instructors at GDA are certified by the Department of Driver Services in accordance with state law and have passed all background checks mandated by DDS regulations. All instructors have undergone rigorous safety training as well as customer service training intended to provide excellent guidance during each student's experience with us.

For Driver's Education classes such as those required for obtaining your learner’s permit or junior operator's license, students must be 15½ years old before enrollment is allowed. However, for Defensive Driving Courses or other adult-level driving lessons, there is no minimum age requirement - anyone over 18 years old is eligible.

Our certified instructors are trained professionals who take time with each student individually to ensure they understand the material being taught and develop safe driving habits before going out on the roadways alone.
