History
Fleetwood Town Football Club began life in 1997 when they were formed by local business man Andy Pilley. They first started off playing in the North West Counties league Division 1 before earning promotion to the Northern Premier League. In 2006 they were promoted to Conference North, and achieved further success with promotion to Conference Premier (now National League) in 2010. This was followed up with promotion into League One – where they currently compete today – in 2012 following a dramatic play-off victory over York City at Wembley Stadium.

In recent years FTFC has seen some great success both on and off the pitch, winning several awards along the way including Manager of the Year for both 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
