What We Do
FORAC works with the Musical Directors of the choirs to raise funds towards the cost of maintaining and purchasing clothing, music and equipment for choir use. The funds raised are used to buy such items, or for projects that improve choir performance or opportunities for members such as participation in residential courses, singing exams, visits to other places of worship or attending concerts. As well as raising money for specific projects, FORAC holds occasional social events for members of the choirs which often involve opportunities to learn more about music theory and practice.
Our Vision
Our vision is that all individuals should have an opportunity to experience high-quality choral music performed by talented young singers at Romsey Abbey. Through building strong relationships with like-minded organisations such as schools, churches, charities and local businesses we strive to promote understanding of our amazing choral history and encourage more people to become involved either through volunteering or active engagement with events taking place within the Church.
