History

FCPB began as an amateur team in 1959 under the guidance of its founder Yves-Marie Lucien and his son Christian. The club rose steadily through the ranks of French football gaining promotion to Championnat National 3 in 1982 and then to Championnat National 2 in 1983 where they have remained ever since. During this period, FCPB also developed its youth academy which enabled them to develop some of their most well-known players including Philippe Anziani, Frédéric Née and Mohammed Al-Fahim.
