What does FCCA mean in ASSOCIATIONS

The Federal Court Clerks' Association (FCCA) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the work of clerks, deputy clerks and other professionals in the court services field. Our members are committed to upholding high ethical standards, promoting justice and integrity in the courts, and providing effective customer service within the judicial system.

Membership in the FCCA is open to all current or former court clerks or deputy clerks who perform duties related to courts, justice or law enforcement.

To become a member of our association, you must submit an application form as well as supporting documentation that includes your current job title, status in your organization and other relevant information required on the form. After submitting your application and documentation you must receive approval from two existing members of our organization.

As an FCCA member you will have access to exclusive resources such as continuing education seminars and webinars, publications and special discounts on professional development opportunities. Additionally, we offer networking events and programs for enhancing leadership skills which can help further your career.

Yes, there is an annual membership fee associated with joining our association; however it is a small fee that supports essential operations such as advocacy efforts and administrative costs associated with running our organization.

There may be additional fees associated with attending conferences or registering for courses; however these are typically minimal amounts compared to other organizations' fees.

This depends on how quickly we receive your completed application along with all necessary supporting documents/information needed for review by two existing members of our organization. Once approved you will receive a notice welcoming you into our association.

We ask that members dress professionally when attending FCCA-sponsored events including conferences, courses and meetings. However what constitutes “professional” attire can vary based on individual circumstances so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about what attire might be appropriate for certain events.
