What does FBLC mean in FOUNDATIONS

FBLC works to provide children with access to educational resources such as textbooks, school supplies, and computers; as well as health resources such as medical care, nutritious meals, and preventive healthcare services.

FBLC works with organizations in both developed and developing countries around the world that work directly with vulnerable children living in poverty who have limited access to education or healthcare.

Through its partnerships, FBLC mobilizes funds, personnel and other resources to provide direct assistance such as creating schools in rural areas or providing lifesaving treatments for ill children. It also advocates on behalf of the most vulnerable populations and works with the local governments to ensure that policies are in place that protect the rights of those living in poverty.

Some examples of initiatives funded by FBCL include educating disabled kids through special needs schools in India; providing medical care for orphans and TB patients throughout Africa; offering nutrition support for malnourished babies worldwide; building a library and computer center in Northern Nigeria; developing school facilities in Tanzania; constructing playgrounds for Roma communities in Romania; and increasing access to clean water sources throughout Latin America.
