Worshipping Together

FBC is a vibrant community that gathers regularly for worship services, small groups and Bible studies. The sanctuary provides a beautiful environment for worshipping together as well as fellowship activities throughout the week. During each worship service, people can expect a time of music, prayer, scripture reading and sharing from the pastor's heart. Music styles range from traditional hymns to new choruses sung with instruments such as guitars, keyboards and drums. Invigorating preaching from the pulpit guides parishioners in their faith journey - providing new perspectives on Scripture's application for daily life.

Reaching Out

Through many different programs and ministries FBC seizes opportunities to reach out into Northeast Ohio with God's Word and Love. Through door-to-door visitation teams they reach individuals who live close by while also ministering through various local missions partnerships like Habitat for Humanity — Cleveland Area or Habitat International — Honduras where members volunteer throughout the year in hopes of bringing relief to those living without basic necessities such as clean water or food security. Further outreaches include trips to Ghana West Africa twice every three years where volunteers help support local churches while delivering humanitarian aid packages filled with clothes, school supplies and other items needed in rural communities there.

Discipleship Opportunities

Truly living out one's faith involves being held accountable within a Christian community. At FBC this begins at home but extends far beyond that - whether it be connecting on social media challenges or joining online bible studies during difficult times like now when we've had to practice physical distancing due to COVID 19. Church leaders have implemented a strong emphasis on personal growth through numerous discipleship programs designed to facilitate spiritual transformation among congregation members; ranging from short-term teaching seminars on relevant topics applicable today like handling financial issues or discovering personal identity in Christ to weekly interactive studies such as gospel circles which are structured centered conversations that dive deep into faith related questions allowing for meaningful exchanges between participants.
