What does FACE mean in MEDICAL

The American College of Epidemiology (ACE) is a professional organization of epidemiologists seeking to promote excellence in the science and practice of epidemiology. The ACE works to improve public health through research, education, and promotion of evidence-based practices. By connecting the best minds in epidemiology from around the world, ACE seeks to advance the science and best practice in our field.

To become a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology (ACE), an individual must demonstrate mastery in their field by showing excellence in both research and practice. This includes publishing authoritative papers in professional journals, advancing scientific discoveries that directly contribute to improving public health, and/or providing clinical care that sets an example for other practitioners.

Absolutely! The American College of Epidemiology offers opportunities even outside Fellowship status such as joining discussion groups which share resources within different subspecialties or interest areas within epidemiology or attending regional workshops or lectures catered specifically towards emerging students and professionals interested in getting involved within our field. Additionally, there are several other ways non-Fellows can engage with fellow members like volunteering service roles during meetings or submitting scholarly work for publication review.

Applying for Fellowship involves completing an application form that includes personal information such as your CV/resume, proposed Statement of Interests that outlines how you have demonstrated excellence through research and/or practice along with confirmation that two existing Fellows will vouch for you as recommended applicants - after which you may submit your package via email or mail per instructions detailed after acceptance letter has been issued. Once received your dossier will be reviewed by Members Services committee should your application reach initial evaluation stage.

Yes – while maintaining membership is encouraged it is ultimately based on continual satisfactory performance as detailed by criteria set forth upon admission into Fellowship level status– i.e., inability to stay current with payment dues; disciplinary action mentioned in formal statements results despite attempts at remediation efforts etc…In such cases revocation would occur after formal request made at meeting organized by qualified leadership board who then decide final outcome regarding re-admission possibilities if applicable.
