What does ESFD mean in DEVELOPMENT

The Economic Social Fund for Development (ESFD) is a global initiative dedicated to promoting social and economic development and poverty reduction through targeted investments in the most vulnerable communities around the world.

The goal of ESFD is to create sustainable change in these communities by providing resources, training programs, and technical assistance that can help build local capacities and foster long-term resilience.

ESFD provides resources such as finances and grants, education and training programs, technical expertise, consulting services, research support, access to markets, job creation opportunities, infrastructure investments, technological transfer, etc. All of these help accelerate community development initiatives.

All people living in poverty-stricken communities benefit from the work done by ESFD.
