What does AFW mean in US GOVERNMENT

AFW stands for Agriculture, Fish, and Water.

Agriculture relates to cultivating land in order to produce crops which can be further processed into food products. The fishing industry provides us with seafood that can also be turned into various food items. Finally, water resources are essential to the growth of both crops and fish so they are essential components of global food production.

In addition to crop cultivation, fishing, and water management activities such as irrigation are all part of AFW as well.. Additionally, research-based activities like investigating better water use methods or exploring new farming technologies also fall within the scope of AFW.

Technology has had a major effect on the way we manage our agricultural resources by introducing automated processes that reduce labor costs; it has also enabled us to make more efficient use of our natural resources such as water by improving its delivery systems. On the fishing side of things, technology has helped us develop new methods for fishing sustainably while still providing a large yield of seafood products.
