What does EMI mean in RELIGION

Engineering Ministries International (EMI) is an international Christian development organization that partners with local leaders to bring transformation to communities around the world. EMI provides resources, skill-based volunteers, and design solutions that are sustainable and appropriate for each community.

EMI works by partnering with local leaders in developing countries to provide sustainable design solutions for meeting their community’s needs. We send skill based volunteers from a variety of engineering disciplines, as well as architects and planners, who bring their expertise to communities in need. Our projects are tailored to the specific needs of the community and designed in collaboration with local leadership.

EMI provides a wide range of design services such as construction plans, stormwater management systems, electrical systems, waste management solutions, water supply systems and more. We also provide ongoing mentorship and training for local engineers and technicians in order to ensure that our projects are sustained over time.

EMI works with representatives from faith-based organizations, government leaders, non-profit organizations and others who have an interest in helping those living in impoverished conditions or facing natural disasters or political crisis. We also employ skilled volunteers from a variety of engineering disciplines including civil engineers, land surveyors, geologists, architects and more who dedicate their time helping those living in extreme poverty.

There are several ways you can get involved with Engineering Ministries International! You can volunteer your time or financial support; your donations will directly fund our mission trips and projects we work on globally! You can also give to our General Fund which allows us to be flexible when responding to community needs around the world. Additionally you can join us at one of our Vision Trips which allow individuals to travel abroad while volunteering their skills on various projects within underserved communities.

Yes – all participants must be 18 years old or above on the day they arrive at the project destination unless accompanied by an adult parent/guardian over 24 years old who will remain responsible for them throughout the duration of the mission trip.
