What does AAEI mean in EDUCATIONAL

AAEI offers various services to ensure that all Asian Americans have access to the best possible education. Our main services include policy research, professional development training, community engagement programs, and academic enrichment initiatives. We are also involved in advocacy efforts to ensure that diverse voices in education are heard.

AAEI specializes in research related to access, equity, and educational outcomes for Asian Americans at the K-12 and postsecondary level. We conduct original empirical research on issues such as college enrollment rates, graduation rates, teacher quality, discipline disparities, parent involvement practices, advanced placement courses participation rates etc.

Yes! We provide competitive scholarships for students that demonstrate strong academic potential from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or commit to pursuing a career related to social justice or public service upon completion of their education. Generally speaking our events are open to most ages; however we may require proof of age depending on the event (for example if alcohol will be served). All attendees must be 18 years old or older unless otherwise noted on specific event descriptions which can be found on our website.
