What does EEAT mean in SOCIETIES

EEAT stands for Environmental Engineering Association of Thailand. It is a non-profit organization committed to advancing sustainable development and environmental protection through engineering activities and scientific research.

The main objectives of EEAT are to promote awareness about environmental issues; support research on environmental engineering topics; facilitate collaborations between academics, researchers, professionals, and students; share information about technologies related to environmental engineering; serve as a platform for discussion of ideas related to environmental protection; provide advice and guidance on professional ethics in the field of environmental engineering; support public engagement activities regarding sustainability initiatives.

EEAT supports public engagement activities by providing resources such as seminars, workshops, conferences, competitions, publications and exhibitions that allow all stakeholders to exchange information about environment-related topics. Additionally, it organizes training programs for engineers and professionals in order to increase their knowledge about environment-related topics.

Yes. In order to achieve its goals, EEAT collaborates with other like-minded organizations from both academic institutions and public organizations that contribute to its mission of promoting sustainable development through science and technology.

There are two types of membership offered by EEAT - General Member or Student Member - depending on your level of professional experience or studies in the field of Environmental Engineering. General Members must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in their respective domains while Student Members must be undergraduates or postgraduates studying Environmental Engineering at an accredited university in order to become eligible for membership in this association.
