What does EBAS mean in GENERAL

The European Business Assistance Scheme (EBAS) is a program launched by the European Commission to support small and medium-sized businesses across Europe. It provides access to business advice and mentoring from experienced professionals, as well as grants and services tailored to the needs of small businesses.

EBAS can provide your business with access to expert advice, resources, funding and other services that can help you maximize growth potential. This includes grants for research or product development, mentoring services from experienced professionals, workshops on topics such as sales and marketing, networking opportunities, and more.

In order to be eligible for EBAS funding or services, your business must meet specific criteria. These criteria include being based in an EU member state or associated countries; having fewer than 250 employees; generating less than €50 million in annual turnover; not being controlled by a larger enterprise; and being independent for at least three years prior to applying for assistance.

Through EBAS, you may be eligible for grants ranging from €50k - €500k that cover costs associated with activities such as research & innovation projects, training & education initiatives, internationalization strategies, product launches or market launch plans. Additionally, these grants are provided in cooperation with local authorities or other national agencies that specifically administer the available funds.

You can apply for an EBAS grant through their website by completing the online application form which requires basic information about your business such as contact details and current financials. After submitting your application you will receive feedback within 60 days informing you whether or not your application was successful.
