What does DSLP mean in LEADERSHIP

The Defence Strategic Leadership Programme (DSLP) is a flagship leadership development programme designed to equip experienced senior leaders from the military, defence and security communities with the skills required to lead their organisations for success. It combines practical and theoretical components in an intensive learning experience aimed at enhancing strategic, operational and governance capabilities.

The programme is open to experienced senior leaders from across the military, defence and security community, including those from government departments, agencies and private sector organisations.

The key focus of DSLP modules include but are not limited to equipping senior leaders with knowledge in strategy & policy formulation, decision making, leading change & transformation within organisations, understanding & managing risk in complex environments as well as developing & managing teams.

We have developed a unique syllabus which consists of different modules that cover topics such as online tools & virtual learning; leadership challenges; organisational culture; business acumen; communication skills among other topics relevant to successful leadership. All our courses are tailored made to meet your specific needs and involve interactive sessions with industry experts.

Assessments within the DSLP consist of both individual and collaborative activities such as case studies, presentations and debates. These serve as a means of evaluation ensuring learners have achieved their desired learning objectives throughout each module or programme. Additionally there may also be optional post-programme assignments available for those who wish to pursue further accreditation or recognition for their efforts.

Depending on your commitment level and individual requirements, completion time for DSLP ranges from 3-9 months depending on the choice of modules selected.
