Design Studio by Azza Fahmy was founded in Syria by Azza Fahmy in 1969, before eventually moving to Cairo to pursue her dream of creating exquisite pieces of art. Following her dream, she attended the prestigious Jewelry Institute in Switzerland and honed her skills in Gemology, Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Stone Setting & Engraving throughout her career. Upon returning from Switzerland in 1975, Azza Fahmy began crafting one-of-a-kind pieces from her small jewellery workshop in downtown Cairo.
