What does DSAF mean in FORUMS

The Doncaster Sheffield Airport Forum is designed to provide a forum for open discussion between various stakeholders on topics related to the airport such as noise, air quality and other environmental concerns. It serves as a platform to allow all affected parties to come together in order to reach mutually beneficial solutions.

The membership of DSAF includes representatives from airport operators, local authorities, airlines, civil society organisations and communities around the airport. This ensures that each stakeholder's views are included in all dialogues within this forum.

The activities of DSAF include facilitating discussion sessions between stakeholders on various issues concerning the airport such as noise levels or air pollution; monitoring progress against agreed objectives; and providing information on relevant topics. Additionally, they provide guidance related to advocacy efforts so that stakeholders can work together towards mutually beneficial solutions.

The Doncaster Sheffield Airport Forum meets every six months or so depending upon the needs of its members. These meetings may take place both online or in person though it depends entirely on the requirements at hand. In addition to regular meetings, ad-hoc sessions may be organised in order to discuss any arising concerns from members quickly before further action is taken by any party concerned with those issues.
